Can't Even Breathe!

Bunny's mouth tilted up to the right in a dimpled grin that strangely almost mirrored Jinx's...only his always hitched up to the left. He was sort of daydreaming but only for a second.

He thought of what she'd said about how she might have tried kicking the door down if it came to that, on the short drive back to her place'. It was an entertaining thought...she didn't seem strong enough to kick down a door though Jinx was making a habit of giving wrong assumptions lately. One assumption he was sure of, though, was that this girl was different. She wasn't bubble-headed like some of the girls he'd known and she wasn't weird...she was just...nice and pretty and he liked that.

He pulled up with the window down, grinning almost slyly behind his Ray-Ban sun glasses. He pretended to miss the expression Bunny had on when she saw the car...he was still shocked that it was his too. It had taken a lot of boring work to get this. Well...that and a couple The hand closest to the window motioned for Bunny to get in and a couple child support checks. His mom would never miss them. He didn't really care if it was messy though...that was in these days, correct?

Nearly as soon as Bunny got in the car, Jinx hit the gas maybe leaving skid marks on the street. The sunlight filtered in through his sun-roof and one of his favorite songs played on the radio. He wondered if Bunny liked it too and looked her way, about to ask when he became sidetracked. Jinx bit his bottom lip and swallowed hard, his eyes flashing back to the road. He'd nearly swerved just looking over at Bunny. She probably hadn't meant to but she looked really--for lack of a better term--hot and...distracting. Which could be dangerous. 'Eyes to the road, Jinxy.' he thought to himself and smiled.

"That's a secret but...you'll know when we get there." He grinned, sneakily--hoping she hadn't been to their destination before. It was maybe a little over fifteen minutes away. Not terribly long but not exactly your trip to the neighborhood pool. "I have to warn you, I'm not the best at swimming. You might have to save me from drowning." She probably thought he was kidding. The smirk he wore was a reason to think that...but he really was awful at swimming. He was more of a ...floater.

Bunnie who hardly gets out knows her music, her life practically revolves around music. She started singing along, to the music for a little while. She wasn't awful, she was a person who enjoyed singing but not wanting the glamorous singing job. Even though she was already in a good mood, the music just made her even happier. But not to the crazy happy, you know the crazy happy that people believe you are drugged up or drunk. She knew how to control herself. She also loved to dance and sing in her room. She even sang and knew all the words to foreign songs like banamana, sorry sorry by super junior. She tries to copy their moves and fails.

"I like secrets." She says stop singing and putting her hands under her thighs. "You can tell me. I won't tell." She says smiling. She knew he wouldn't tell, but she just wanted to try."Don't worry Jinx. If you drown I will save you." She loved swimming, it was one of her favorite things to do. She thought he was kidding, but still will help him if he needed it. "I promise." She says putting up her pinkie. "I pinkie promise" She knew it was like 5th grade but one thing she never did was break her pinkie promises, no matter what it was. "You don't have to, since your driving. and we don't want to get into a wreck." She smiles a small smile to him.

"I like secrets too," He looked over, faking an evil grin but ended up laughing and looking back to the road. "That sounded kinda creepy. And um...anyway that sounds good...but then I'd owe you." Jinx didn't look away from the road until Bunie said "I pinkie promise."

"Oh crap...you dont' mess with a pinkie promise. That shit's legit." He smirked and only laughed a tiny bit before holding out his hand--his pinky--for that promise. "You've gotta' save me now." -Insert wink here.

He looked in the rearviewmirror and realized that there wasn't anybody behind them. And they drove like that...alone for a little while; that is until they reached the beach. But, probably to Bunnie's surprise, they didn't stop. Jinx kept driving on and on until they weren't in the city anymore. They had entered the huge grouping of trees that could definitely be classified as a forrest and were now going down a small dirt road. "Have you been out here before? Jinx asked, betting that she hadn't. Most people didn't even know that there was a road here. He hoped that Bunnie didn't think she was being kidnapped by a crazy person...though in a way, she was. Jinx was kind of crazy though he wasn't crazy enough to kidnap somebody.

Then, Jinx rolled down his window for some fresh air and plugged in his ipod for some good music. Out here, all you could get was wacky country. But when the music came on, Jinx looked over to Bunnie with a slight blush and look of embarassment. Did she know this song? Or the dance? Because Jinx really really felt like doing the dance. She laughed with him when he faked the evil grin, deep down she had a great apprecation for good evil smiles, even though he failed, she loved it. "I know Jinx, I take my pinky promises very very seriously. I promise If anything happens to you, even if u get a small paper cut. I shall save you." They entertwine their pinkys. She smiles and was some what embarrassed.

As they passed the beach was a bit puzzled that they passed it, and Jinx just kept going. Going until they got out of the city, and turned to a dirt road. ~I wonder where he is taking me. I wonder if its just going to be just us or others. I hope its just us. I mean maybe i shouldn't. I have never been alone with some one, like a boy.

The station started playing country music, she wasn't to much of a country person. She was happy that he plugged in his ipod, and started playing his music. When it started she knew exactly what it was. Her mouth dropped, it might have looked like she was shocked, she kinda was but it was a great fusion of joy. She closed her mouth and smiled at him . "OMG, you have this song. I love it. Do you know the dance?" She was to happy to wait, when the time came to do the dance she. Just did it. ~ I bet i look like a idiot,~ Suddenly she felt embarrassed. She completely lost herself. Her face turned red, She scratched the back of her head. "Ummm... Sorry if i was a bit crazy. I love music." She says.
