She secretly writes stories of what she really thinks of the people around her and can get pretty sinister to those that hurt the ones she loves.

Siblings: Laura, 19, caretaker of Karina and Nana
Other Important People: Nana, 83, nurse, grandmother
History: Karina was born in Deridder La, and moved to escape after her parents were found dead in an field outside of town. Karina's sister Laura moved them to Escape where they met their grandmother Karen. Karen has a mild case of dementia and so has to be looked after almost 24:7 so Laura stays home and makes money as an AVON representative while looking after Nana. Karina goes to school and works part time at an animal shelter.
