"Oohh lucky. Glasses are hella annoying...trust me. Or at least mine are. I always forget them or break them or whatever; drives my mom crazy." He rolled his eyes which were free of said evil glasses. Everything was a little bit blurry seeing that he didn't have contacts but then again he only really needed them for reading and stuff.
"Sounds fancy. I just got... coffee. Ya'know... minus the fancy crap."He kinda wished he'd gotten something sweeter though lord knows he absolutely did not need the sugar.
Jenelle said she was seventeen and had just turned it... and Jinx's words were out of his mouth without a second thought. "So if I said I liked you, would that make me a pedophile?" Jinx scrunched his nose in a mini wince... he hoped not. But, there were other fish in the sea. Just not Jenelle-fish.
"Really?" Crossing his eyes, Jinx tried to view the mysterious unidentified object on his nose... he didn't have a clue what it would be, that is, until Jenelle smooshed a small dollop of whipped cream to his nose. Jinx let out an indignant cry and yelled, "Hey!" a little too loudly. He laughed shortly after and gave an apologetic glance to the few other customers.
Of course, Jinx tried to lick the whipped cream off his nose which he couldn't possibly do...not even close. He was also painfully disappointed to remember how blank his coffee was; no whipped cream to reciprocate. Darn. But then again, he could always improvise?
Smooth and swiftly, Jinx leaned across the small table and pressed his nose up against Jenelle's; effectively getting her back for the incident. Her face turned pretty red from what he could see and Jinx's eyes were lit up with mischief--He liked that she played tricks...he loved tricks--and his mouth was tugged into an unforgettable Jinxy grin.
"I think you have something on your nose too," He stage-whispered and winked, grin still firmly in place.
ooc; I liked yours. : ) And I'm over it now... it was just pretty frustrating at the time. :/

Jenelle couldn't help but laugh when Jinx yelled 'Hey!' a little bit too loudly in the quiet coffee shop; it reminded her of a little kid getting his or her's most prized possession taken away from 'em. Attention was drawn towards Jinx, but they soon turned back around, uninterested in him. Jenelle looked away and then back towards Jinx who was now leaning over the table only to press his whipped cream nose against her's. She felt her face turn bright red when he did that, and she saw the mischief fill his eyes.
Jenny couldn't help but laugh as well as grabbing a napkin. "Ha ha, very funny," she said rolling her eyes playfully as well as wiping her nose. "And no. It wouldn't make you a pedophile if you liked me. We aren't that far apart in age, and I think once you're past sixteen, you can date an eighteen year old," Jenelle said as she finished wiping her nose. She pushed the napkin aside and got another drink as well as thinking of something. "And if I said I liked you, would you care about the age difference?" she asked with a small smile. She hoped not because she could see herself dating him; he was decent looking and had a nice personality...from what she knew about him.
"So, have you always been a little prankster, Pokey?" Jenny asked as well as a flirty smile appearing on her cute, little pixie face. Jenelle for one has never been, but she can play little harmless pranks when she wants to. After Jenelle took another drink of her coffee, she heard her the text message notification go off in her purse. She grabbed it out and unlocked it; the text message was from her mom, and it read, 'What are you up to? Still at Hush Park?' Jenelle quickly responded by saying, 'Nothing much, and no. I'm at the Megalopolis coffee shop...with a new friend I met. His name is Adam "Jinx" Jones.' Once she responded, she slipped it back into her purse as well as taking another drink of her coffee as she waited for Jinx to respond to her question.

Jenelle was right... who was he to ever care about the age difference? He didn't believe in judging on things like that or at leas to an extent... he wasn't totally weird that way. It's not like he'd date an eleven year old~ not that Jenelle was one anyhow. She was a teenage girl, he was a teenage guy; problem solved.
"Pretty much," Jinx answered truthfully. "Hence the name Jinx... trouble sort of follows me around. So you've been warned." He winked and went on with his drinking his coffee. It was already starting to get cold.
"Danggg...how do you text that fast?" Jinx raised his eyebrows and stuck out his tongue. I suck at texting..." He wondered if the message had something to do with him and if it did, had she said something good? Or bad... he didn't want her getting a bad impression. They hardly knew anything about each other.
"What're you doing tonight, Jenelle? I've got nowhere to be and no one to see." Aha. What a poet. It didn't matter that the rhyme was crap; it was an accident and his smooth smile helped quite a lot.
[/justify] ooc;; sorry i take so long to do anything... and that this reply was a failure and a half. i've been out of the writing mood lately. : (

As Jenelle was taking another drink of her coffee, she, once again, heard her messaging notification go off. Jenelle set the coffee down on the table and grabbed her phone from her purse once more. But before Jenny read the message, she listened to what Jinx had to say. Jinx had told her that he's a prankster, and trouble usually follows him around. "As long as you don't get me into trouble, I don't mind," Jenelle answered to him honestly.
After answering to Jinx, she unlocked her phone and began to read the message; 'Jinx? Well, okay. I trust you, honey. Just be careful. Come home within the next couple of hours. Love you, sweetheart.' Jenelle got annoyed by the message and rolled her eyes. She hated her mother being overprotective. 'It's not like I'm going around town and doing bad things, mother,' she thought with a groan. 'All right, mom. And I am being careful. Love you too, bye.' is what she sent back to her mother. Quickly, Jenelle put her phone back into her purse, hoping she wouldn't get anymore interruptions. "Danggg...how do you text that fast?" Jinx asked as well as raising his eyebrows and sticking out his tongue. Jen just shrugged her shoulders and smiled, "I dunno. From texting for so many years, I guess."
Jenelle grabbed her coffee and took another drink as well as listening to Jinx ask her what she was doing tonight. She set her coffee down as well as giggling and smiling at Jinx's little moment of being a poet. "Not much of anything, actually. Do you wanna hang out, or something?" Jenelle would love to because she would like to get to know Jinx a little better; a lot better, actually.
occ;; yours was fine. sorry mine wasn't very good. ): outfit;; here.
