The wind from the ocean hit Cadence's hair making it fly back out of her face. It felt so good outside right next to the ocean. The sound of the waves crashing up against the rocks and the people on the beach making noise while playing volleyball, or making sandcastles. Everyone seemed so relax, like they were 'escaping' from something. It was such an ensuring site to see.
Cadence slipped off her new green flip flops and took one step out onto the sand. It ran through her toes and it was so hot, it felt so nice. She bent down on her knees and ran her fingers through it. She loved the feel of sand, but not when she was wet. That is one of the worst feelings in the world, wet sand all over your body, it's so uncomfortable. Ilieana didn't plan on swimming today, she just was taking a walk around Nikkville, though she did have her swimsuit on.
While bent down running her fingers through the hot sand a beach ball came and whacked Cadence right in the head. She looked up and saw a little 4 year old running to pick up the ball. Realizing it wasn't a bunch of jerks that had no respect she picked up the ball and handed it back to the child. "There ya go sweetie." She said smiling. The kid looked so content as she ran back to her mommy that she had been playing catch with.
Cadence stood back up on her feet and brushed the sand off her knees. She looked out onto the ocean, so many people on their boats and people para sailing and stuff. It all looked so much fun. Cadence smiled, sat down... and watched everyone do what they were doing. Sandcastles, volleyball, tanning, reading, swimming, and so much more. Cadence didn't know what to do. She didn't really have anything planned, so anything could happen at this point.
She went and walked over to the water where people were splashing around and swimming. She tried to stay away from the people splashing because she still had her clothes on and that wouldn't be good. She took one step closer to the water and a wave came and rolled over her feet. It was cold, really cold...but it felt good on a hot day like this. Cadence threw her head back and looked up into the sky. She took a deep breath and smiled, she was going to try and make today a good day, whatever it took.
